DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF SERVICES IN ADDITION TO OUR STANDARD TERMS:
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all orders are accepted subject to the following description and conditions. Any special conditions printed on the customers order will not be accepted if they are at variance with our own unless agreed in writing.
Strictly 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, unless previously out of hours’ times consultations have been agreed.
ESTIMATES / QUOTES / PRICES:
Whilst every endeavor is made to ensure accuracy, no responsibility is accepted for any error or omission. All prices estimated/quoted are subject to alteration at any time without notice.
Firm prices for an agreed period are available in writing with guaranteed costs valid for a minimum of thirty days acceptance from the date the estimate is submitted by email.
DOMAIN NAME MANAGEMENT / RENEWALS:
Domain renewals will be invoiced with a due date one month advance of renewal/expiry date. Unpaid or uncleared payments by the invoice payment date may result with your domain name suspended which means you may lose all rights to retaining it.
There will be a reconnection charge of £35:00 to cover our administration time to manually rescue your domain name in such circumstances. Please note you will also lose all website and email functionality during this suspended period.
Domain registered and managed by iT Rocks Marketing are the property of the client as long as all registration and renewal fees are paid. Transfer out can be made at any time in writing with any admin and fees covered as applicable at that time with the registry.
Domain names cannot be altered, no refunds are available, (be very careful in the spelling of domain name orders iT Rocks Marketing take no responsibility or errors).
HOSTING AND HOSTING RENEWALS:
Hosting is the space supplied for your website files on our servers, it’s like your internet home. By supplying hosting, we undertake to keep your website live with no interruption in service where at all possible 99.9% of the time. Hosting IS NOT updating the clients’ website page content (see below).
Hosting renewals will be invoiced with a due date one month advance of renewal/expiry date. Unpaid or uncleared payments by the invoice payment date may result with your hosting suspended. There will be a reconnection charge of £25:00 to cover our administration time to manually reset your hosting account in such circumstances. Please note you will also lose all website and email functionality during this suspended period.
If applicable client access to c-Panel and FTP details will also be forwarded by email. It's advisable for clients to follow instructions issued by iT Rocks Marketing to ensure their webspace remains intact and available to the public domain at all times. iT Rocks Marketing may charge an additional fees should it be necessary to rectify a problem caused by the client not following instructions issued, this would be payable in advance.
Our servers have been upgraded to reflect the new fully responsive websites and the need to have a much-improved service for our clients. The servers are optimized for Joomla built websites, the price increase has been kept to a minimum, remember quality does not come free.
No refunds can be issued for deposit payments. We can upgrade hosting packages but not downgrade. Once orders have been placed, all payments are for one year periods as stated on the clients invoice. iT Rocks Marketing reserve the right to take down from the public domain any account where an element remains unpaid. No account will be activated until cleared funds have been received.
UPDATES – Maintenance Contract:
Client monthly maintenance updates required on the day of publishing to arrive no later than 7:00am to ensure same day service. Late arriving updates will be published at our earliest convenience.
UPDATES – Pay-As-You-Go:
Non-monthly client updates required via email (ONLY) the afternoon prior to publishing. No guarantee is given to what we consider or is perceived a same day service Updates will be fitted in where time allows within a 48-hour period from 9:00am the day following submission, you will be invoiced at the end of each month via email to your registered email address with payment due within 7 working days of the invoice date.
Our time will be invoiced at our standard hourly rate for any SEO work carried out on the clients’ website including search engine submission and site back up.
We DO NOT accept business instruction via text message, Facebook messenger or Twitter DM. Your instructions need to be filed, we only accommodate this via email to our specified email address. Please keep social media to personal conversations, any business will get a short reply ‘EMAIL!’
YOUR EMAIL SOFTWARE:
We do not offer a free support service for setting up your email accounts, the details that you need will be supplied for you to insert into your software choice. If we can assist with the account set up in the above software, we will if our schedule allows. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with any other email software issues.
Please check your junk/spam folders daily, sometimes emails are dropped into these folders for no reason, you may miss an important email from ourselves or indeed another important company that you trade with.
VIEWING AND PROOFING YOUR WEBSITE:
We advise checking the proof of your website on a laptop or personal computer running Windows 10 and an up to date internet browser, preferably Firefox or Google Chrome with your devices recommended resolution settings. We also ask you to view your website on a tablet and a mobile smart phone so that you understand how your fully responsive website works.
Please ensure that any changes, corrections or additions are carried out at approval stage, once this website has been published live we will charge for any later amendments at our standard hourly rate.

ACCOUNT SUSPENSION / CANCELLATION:
iT Rocks Marketing reserve the right to suspend / cancel an account at any time without notice if you are found to be running any of the following; Warez, illegal MP3 Sites, talkers, IRC Bots, unsolicited bulk e-mailing or spam. When a clients account is closed, all files (including web pages, etc.) will be deleted.
Adult sites are permitted with relevant public warnings to protect minors from gaining free access to any pornographic material. You may not store more data in your account than your allotted server space. Clients are responsible for the content of their web pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law. You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s).
We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages should the need arise, without prior notice. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.
If your bandwidth reaches the points where it has an adverse affect on other clients we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwidth usage.
* Each server includes a nominated amount of bandwidth, if you use more than this amount then you agree to pay for this bandwidth at a rate of 20p (ten pence) per 1 MB.
